We are thrilled to announce the Harvest Heroes Junior Executive Team's Fundraising Season—a pivotal time for our young champions to rally support for their mission: "To grow as much food as we can, for as many people as possible."
Our dedicated Harvest Heroes are tackling one of our community's most pressing issues—food insecurity. Through their passion, teamwork, and commitment, these young leaders are learning vital life skills and making an impactful difference. But they need your support to bring their aspirations to life!
The Pizza Garden Project
At school, our Heroes are spearheading an exciting initiative to include more scholars in their mission. By offering pre-made pizza gardens -- live seedlings that will allow their peers to grow pizza gardens at home -- we aim to inspire others to join the program and learn the joys of urban farming. Your encouragement and involvement can help plant the seeds of community growth and collaboration.
Reaching the Community
Each Harvest Hero has set an ambitious, yet achievable goal of raising $10,000. These funds will contribute to:
- Expanding their ability to grow fresh produce.
- Enhancing their education in urban farming techniques.
- Supporting their efforts to combat food insecurity in our community.
We invite you, your family, and friends to join this incredible cause. Whether through a direct contribution, spreading the word, or corporate sponsorship, every bit of support matters. Together, we can empower our Heroes and amplify their impact in the community.
Your scholar is not just part of a program—they’re part of a movement. Let’s rally behind them to ensure their efforts flourish. Please visit one or more of the links below to contribute to a Harvest Hero's campaign or contact us directly to learn about other ways you can get involved.
